ACMC conducted an interagency liaison officer course for government officials from Defence, Home Affairs, Australian Border Force, Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Coordination across multiple agencies is key to effective civil-military engagement. The course provided insights into working with the military, government agencies and non-government organisations. The course covered the roles and attributes of liaison officers, differences in organisational cultures, command structures and planning processes, as well as the key principles of civil-military engagement.
