ADMM PLUS

ARF DiREX

The aim of the ASEAN Regional Forum Disaster Relief Exercise is to test regional civil-military coordination efforts and support the implementation of the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) as the common platform for disaster management in the region. Additionally ARF DiREX tests regional preparedness to quickly deploy the Emergency Rapid Assessment Team, and test the coordination function of the ASEAN Humanitarian Assistance (AHA) Centre.

BALIKATAN

BALIKATAN is a US-Philippines sponsored exercise designed to transition the Philippines armed forces from internal security to territorial defence. ADF and AFP participate to reinforce close military ties with The Philippines and US, develop interoperability between forces and their capacity to conduct a wide range of military operations including Humanitarian Civil Assistance.

MENTAWAI MEGATHRUST is an Indonesian activity jointly sponsored by the Indonesian Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) and the Indonesian Defence Force (TNI) as part of a two-year disaster response exercise program.
