International and Domestic Engagement Directorate

APS6 – International Policy Officer

The successful candidate will play an integral role in initiating, developing and enacting programmes and opportunities for outreach. The role will require engagement with stakeholders and project management to deliver products that contribute meaningfully to wider team goals. An opportunity exists for a high performing individual to join the International and Domestic Engagement Directorate in the role of Assistant Director Engagements. The successful candidate will manage a team responsible for designing and delivering a civ-mil projects including seminars and workshops, desktop exercises, and training and development for a whole of government audience. Concepts and Capability Directorate

EL1 – Assistant Director, Preparedness

An opportunity exists for a high performing individual to join the Concepts and Capability Directorate in the role of Assistant Director Preparedness. This is an exciting and dynamic position that will see the successful candidate working as part of a small team to design and deliver a civil-military-police preparedness program that includes the development of strategies , frameworks for civil-military-police preparedness and support to the design and delivery of civil-military-police exercises, creating opportunities for active participation by civilian, military and police personnel to explore real world cross-agency cooperation challenges. EL1 – Assistant Director, Lessons

An opportunity exists for a high performing individual to join the Concepts and Capability Directorate in the role of Assistant Director Lessons and Evaluation. This is an exciting and dynamic position that will see the successful candidate designing and delivering a whole-of-government, and broader multiagency, lessons and evaluation program that includes, the design and conduct of Commissioned Whole-of-Government Lessons Reviews for senior government stakeholders; Quick Impact Workshops that facilitate cross-agency lessons discussion with practitioners immediately following a crisis response; and exercise evaluations of civil-military-police capability, as well as the development of strategies and frameworks for cross-agency lessons and evaluation.
